Road work between Stawamus Chief and Porteau Cove; expect delays

Road maintenance work on the Sea to Sky Highway starts today and is likely to cause traffic delays.

This work will take place between Stawamus Chief Provincial Park and Porteau Cove Road for 16 kilometres.

It continues till Friday, November 5, from 7 am to 6:30 pm on weekdays.

There will be lane closures. Watch for traffic control, and expect delays.

Bridge maintenance work is also planned between Garibaldi Highway and Ocean Point Drive, one north of West Vancouver).

This work will continue till Monday, November 8 at 6 pm.

Watch for traffic control, and expect delays. Northbound lanes will be blocked with counterflow lane operating in southbound left lane, and there will be a speed reduction to 60 km/hr.

Road maintenance work is planned at 300 m downhill of Chippendale Road near West Vancouver.

This work starts on November 13 at 7 am and continues till Friday, April 1, at 5:30 pm.

There will be intermittent closures 1-2 minutes at a time. Expect delays.
