Driver of stolen car seriously injured in Highway 99 head-on collision

Squamish RCMP says one of the car involved in the accident today on Highway 99 was stolen overnight from Surrey.

Highway 99 has reopened after being closed for five hours.

The driver of the stolen car sustained serious and potentially critical injuries. Police do not know the extent of injuries of the other driver.

Squamish RCMP continues to investigate.
