Squamish Detail Centre manager Matt Muirhead has been detailing cars since he was a teenager fascinated with new cars in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

“I just love cars and I have been detailing them for the last 20 years,” he says.

Since moving out west, Matt has detailed cars at dealerships in the Lower Mainland, but it is a skill he has perfected at the Squamish Detail Centre.

Run by the Squamish Toyota dealership, Squamish Detail Centre is a state-of-the-art full-service detailing facility located in the Squamish Industrial Park.

The Squamish Detail Centre has been open for five years now, and Eddie Tao credits the community for its success.

“We want to thank the community for their ongoing support,” says Tao, the dealer principal of Squamish Toyota.

“The loyalty of our customers and our dedicated staff has made Squamish Detail Centre a very successful operation and we are grateful to the community for this,” Tao said.

Since the Squamish Detail Centre is an initiative of the local Toyota dealership, getting the best quality products at the centre has never been an issue.

“All our staff has full benefits and they are very dedicated. And of course, we can get the best supplies because we have a trusted brand like Toyota to back us up,” Matt says.

This has driven a culture of perfection at the detail centre, he adds.

“We check every car over and over until the customer is satisfied. I would rather do a 10-minute touch up than hear any complaints from a customer,” Matt says.

That culture of attention to detail has continued for the last five years at the Squamish Detail Centre and will continue in the future.

“We are thankful to our amazing community for making the Squamish Detail Centre so successful and we will keep this commitment for years to come.”
