Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Howe Sound. The advisory is from now through to this afternoon. The advisory is also in effect for Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley West and Central including Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
Areas of dense fog have developed early this morning, and are expected to dissipate this afternoon. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
