Three cooling centres open in Squamish

The District of Squamish has opened two cooling centres in the community.

Cooling centres will be open at Brennan Park Recreation Centre (Lobby) and The 55 Activity Centre from Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29.

Brennan Park Recreation Centre (Lobby)

Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29:  8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The 55 Activity Centre

Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Squamish Public Library is also open to the public on Monday from 10 am to 5 pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.

Squamish Transit continues to be offered to all residents as a free service and residents without access to a vehicle can use transit to access the cooling centres.
