Two special voting opportunities will be held on Thursday, October 13 as follows:
At the Squamish General Hospital, 38140 Behrner Drive and Hilltop House, 38146, Behrner Drive, during the hours of 10 am to 12 pm.
At the Shannon Falls Retirement Residences, 38255 Third Avenue, during the hours of 1 pm to 2 pm.
Voting is for those who have been admitted as patients to the hospital, live in residence at the Shannon falls retirement, or work there.
Voting will be conducted at a central location in the Squamish General Hospital and in the Hilltop house, each followed by a bedside voting opportunity, where required.
The general voting day for local elections will be open to qualified electors of the District on Saturday, October 15, between 8 am and 8 pm. The voting will take place at the Brennan Park Recreation Centre.
However, advance voting opportunities are also available. Below are the details for advance voting opportunities:
Monday, October 3 – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The 55 Activity Centre
Wednesday, October 5 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at The 55 Activity Centre
Thursday, October 6 – 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The 55 Activity Centre
Saturday, October 8 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Brennan Park Recreation Centre
