Passenger banned from BC Ferries tries to get on board wearing disguise

October 12, 2022 9:18am

A passenger banned on BC Ferries tried to board a ferry under disguise but then fled on foot when confronted by police.

On October 9, BC ferries contacted the Quadra RCMP saying an individual that had been banned from the ferries was on the vessel in disguise.

The individual was wearing what was obviously a wig, scarf, sunglasses, and spoke in an odd high-pitched accent that was either Australian or British.

The unwanted passenger, who was well known to police, refused to cooperate with police and fled on foot leaving only his wig and mask on a trail.
