West Vancouver Police is also encouraging people to stay home.
“We are experiencing an abundance of wintery weather conditions. Many main streets have been affected by this weather,” said police in a social media tweet. “Please refrain from traveling via car today and stay home if you are able to. Needing to head out? Check Drivebc.ca for road conditions.”
Meanwhile, snowfall warning remains in effect for North Shore. “An arctic front will bring snow and strong outflow winds to the region today. As the front continues to push west, the heavy snow will spread into the west Fraser Valley by very early this morning and into all Metro Vancouver regions by mid to late morning,” says Environment Canada.
