The Brackendale Fall Fair is back and set to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. The fair will be held on September 9 and 10 at the Brackendale Farmers Institute, located at 41976 Government Road.

The community is invited to enjoy food, live music, farm animals, mini-golf, face painting, hay rides and other fun and games at the annual fair. As many as 80 vendors with locally grown produce and artisan goods along with local non-profits will be at the two-day event. Be part of the fair and enjoy meals, observe farm animals, hear local musicians and explore the forest on a hayride tour of the Pemberton Trail.

Preparation for the fair takes months and many volunteer hours. With the influx of so many new residents in Squamish, the Fall Fair aims to  bring people together the community to understand the authentic values of Squamish, the organisers say. The fall fair is looking for volunteers for several positions at the fair, and there are many ways to get involved.  Applications for vendors with more information on how to apply to be at the fair will be online soon.

“The Fair provides a gathering to celebrate community, food security, creativity, and volunteer collaboration. We welcome everyone to participate,” the organisers say in a recent letter to council.
