The Squamish Beer Festival is back for its 8th annual celebration of craft beer in the adventure capital of Canada. This year’s event, scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd, will feature over 40 breweries and cideries and is expected to draw in more than 2,000 beer enthusiasts nationwide. It will take place at the Squamish Loggers Sports Ground from 1 pm to 6 pm.

The festival offers an excellent opportunity for people to come together and celebrate their passion for great beer and mountain culture. In addition to beer sampling, the festival will have food trucks, games, DJs, live music, and other fun activities. Organizers invite people to come with friends or meet new ones at the fest.

The festival is presented by local mortgage broker Paul Hudson and supported by Squamish.com, a real estate company owned by Scott McQuade, Nesters, Backcountry Brewing, RONA, All Mountain Contracting, and Sea 2 Sky Safety Training services.

To succeed, the event needs the support of dedicated and passionate volunteers. The organizers are looking for hard-working beer enthusiasts, 19 years of age and over, to join the team. Volunteers will be offered a great perks package, including an official Squamish Beer Festival t-shirt, food, and fun.

The volunteer shift will last 4.5 to 6 hours, during which volunteers will help behind the scenes and at the festival. In return, they will get free festival access, tokens for sampling at the event, and a chance to work with a great team dedicated to producing quality events.

The festival has also announced early bird special prices for tickets, starting at $49 for a single ticket and $65 for a combo ticket, which includes 15 beverage tokens.
