Sea to Sky Highway accident send one to hospital in serious condition

One person was seriously injured in an accident in Squamish that also stalled traffic on the Sea to Sky Highway on a busy summer weekend.

Emergency responders were called to the Sea to Sky Highway incident near Cleveland Avenue in Squamish on Sunday, July 7. BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 12:57 p.m. regarding the incident.

An ambulance with primary care paramedics, an advanced care paramedic response unit, a supervisor, and an air ambulance responded to the scene. According to Public Information Officer Rachelle Bown, paramedics provided emergency medical care to the injured person, who was transported by ground and air ambulance to the hospital in serious condition.
