Woodfibre LNG has announced the opening of the fall intake for its Community Partnership Program for 2024.
In a press release, the company said its Community Partnership Program supports non-profit organizations that contribute to the local community through sports and recreation, health and wellness, arts and culture, and local search and rescue and marine safety.
Squamish and Sea-to-Sky region non-profit organizations are invited to apply for up to $5,000 funding by October 11, 2024.
“Woodfibre LNG’s Community Partnership Program has been supporting hardworking non-profit organizations in Squamish for many years, and we’re committed to supporting the important work of local non-profit organizations in the community,” said Christine Kennedy, president, Woodfibre LNG, “We look forward to receiving new submissions and to continuing to support excellent community programming in the region”
The program’s spring intake provided $150,000 in funding to 50 local non-profit organizations. This support enabled these groups to accomplish a wide range of objectives, from providing local recreation and sport opportunities to investing in new equipment for first responders.
