Golden Crust Specialities will be closing its doors after serving the community for 22 years, the owners Patrick and Wade Yendall announced last week on social media. Golden Crust, located at 38924 Queens Way will serve its final customers on February 15.

“After 22 wonderful years, Wade and I have made the difficult decision to close Golden Crust and embark on our next adventure,” said Patricia Yendall. The couple is planning to move to Vancouver Island.  “Although our time in Squamish is finished, we will not rule out offering up our specialties elsewhere on the West Coast in the future,” they said.

The Yendalls expressed deep gratitude to their loyal customers and the Squamish community, reflecting on the relationships and memories forged over two decades. “Golden Crust has always been more than a business for us,” Wade Yendall shared. “It’s been about building relationships, sharing stories, and creating moments. Serving this community has been an immense pleasure.”
To honour their customers and bid farewell, the Yendalls will organize a customer appreciation event on their final day. The drop-in event will feature coffee, tea, and baked goods, allowing patrons to say goodbye and reminisce with the owners.
‘Serving our community has been an immense pleasure, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and support you have shown us throughout these years. Our food was crafted not just with ingredients but with love, knowing it would soon be part of your celebrations, your daily life, and your memories.”
