Families looking for a winter adventure this Family Day Weekend, February 15–17, can enjoy various outdoor activities, live music, delicious treats, and exclusive discounts at the Sea to Sky Gondola.

The weekend starts with a scavenger hunt along the Spirit Trail, where participants can explore the summit in search of hidden treasures and a special surprise. Free tubing is available all weekend, with $5 from each ticket supporting Squamish Search and Rescue. Other outdoor activities include snowshoeing, hiking, ice skating, and fireside relaxation at Backyard Plaza.

For those needing a break indoors, the Summit Lodge will feature food and drink specials, including Chef Vinnie’s roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, a signature beef dip sandwich with fries, and a selection of mouthwatering desserts. Families can also enjoy board games and coloring activities throughout the weekend, with live music by Marc Charron on Sunday.

On Monday, February 17, passholders can take advantage of 40% off all retail items, making it a great time to pick up outdoor gear or a souvenir. Food and drink specials will also be available throughout the weekend. The Summit Café will be serving The Peak Indulgence, a decadent dark chocolate drink with sea salt, Oreo crumble, chocolate sprinkles, and a cinnamon sugar churro—an ideal treat to warm up after a day in the snow.

Whether exploring the trails, enjoying live music, or sipping on a rich hot chocolate, Family Day Weekend at the summit offers something for everyone. It’s the perfect opportunity to create lasting winter memories in the heart of nature.
