UPDATE: The fire has been extinguished. Squamish Fire Rescue has cleared scene, but a fire watch will remain in place.

Squamish Fire Rescue  is responding to a large vehicle fire and is asking people to avoid the area.  The fire is located at the intersection of Vancouver St and Loggers Lane in Downtown Squamish.

Squamish Fire Rescue is asking the asking the public to avoid the area as crews work to extinguish the fire.
