Tantalus Wellspring Society (TWS) extends its heartfelt thanks to Greg Gardner and all who contributed to the success of its “Double Your Donations” fundraiser this past winter. The event raised nearly $15,000, with 100% of the funds directed toward TWS’s Empowerment and Choice program, ensuring that mental health services remain accessible to residents of Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor.

In the past four weeks alone, TWS has seen an influx of 34 new intakes from the community, bringing residents one step closer to receiving subsidized counselling services. This marks a crucial moment in TWS’s mission to support mental health and wellness, with hundreds of therapeutic counselling sessions provided to individuals throughout the past year.

“The outpouring of support from Greg Gardner and all who contributed to this campaign has been truly inspiring,” said Elizabeth Grant, TWS Vice Chair. “These donations will help us bridge the funding gap to continue offering these vital mental health services as we move into the next fiscal year.”

The “Double Your Donations” fundraiser is the first of what will become an annual event, and Tantalus Wellspring Society is eager to continue engaging with the community through future events in 2025 and beyond. The Society remains committed to providing accessible mental health services, empowering individuals, and fostering a sense of belonging and support throughout the Sea to Sky region.

Tantalus Wellspring Society (TWS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable and accessible mental health services to residents of Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor. Through a range of counseling and other therapeutic programs, TWS works to empower individuals and help them achieve mental well-being.
