Tourism Squamish has announced its new board of directors for the 2025/2026 term, following the organization’s annual general meeting held on Tuesday. According to a statement from Tourism Squamish, the 12-member board includes both returning and newly elected directors. The announcement comes after six individuals put their names forward in this year’s board election.

“Your involvement helps guide the direction of Tourism Squamish and ensures its momentum going forward,” the organization stated in its announcement. Tourism Squamish said it looks forward to the fresh perspectives and energy the newly elected board members will bring to the organization.

The board includes representatives from various tourism and business sectors across Squamish. Members include Adrian Blachut from Brackendale Art Gallery, Anthony Lamb from Executive Suites Hotel & Resort, Christina Metherall from Rise Mountain Adventures, and Jason Fullerton from Cheakamus Centre.

Additional directors are Jeremy Roche of VentureWeb, Ken Bailey from Squamish Canyon, Kirby Brown of Sea to Sky Gondola, and Matt Upton from The Broken Seal. Rounding out the board are Rebecca McCleery from Canadian Coastal Sailing, Rodney Wilson of Airhouse Sports Academy, Shaun Veltkamp from The Hive MediaWorks, and Toran Savjord representing Capilano University.

Tourism Squamish thanked outgoing board members for their service and contributions to the organization’s success during their terms.
