Drivers using the Mamquam River Forest Service Road should expect delays starting this week as pipeline installation work begins near the Powerhouse Springs Road turnoff.

In a notice, FortisBC announced that crews will begin installing a portion of the new pipeline beneath the road at kilometre 4, just past the Powerhouse Springs Road turnoff, beginning the week of March 9. The work is expected to last up to four weeks.

The construction will generally take place Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., with Saturday hours running from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
