Logging truck accident closes Cleveland Avenue in Squamish

Cleveland Avenue is closed between Buckley Avenue and Highway 99 while site clearing is underway following a vehicle incident involving a logging truck.

According to the social media post, the incident is blocking the entrance to Cleveland Avenue from Highway 99. Highway 99 remains open in both directions, but access to Cleveland Avenue from the highway is unavailable.

A detour via Buckley Avenue is in place for those entering downtown. The post advises drivers to avoid the area if possible and expect delays. Emergency crews are on scene, according to the social media post.
