Chris Pettingill is the New Squamish Chamber of Commerce President

Chris Pettingill is the new president of the Squamish Chamber of Commerce.

He was elected president by the chamber board on Tuesday.

Megan Tadeson from the Executive Suites Garibaldi Springs Resort is the first vice-president.

Roopy Toor from Roopy Toor Global Mortgage is the second vice-president.

Heidi Van Lith is the treasurer, Mike Quesnel is the secretary, Patrick Stafford-Smith and Gregory Fischer are both directors.

The highly dedicated and talented board members represent our vibrant community and numerous volunteer committees, said Eliot Moses, manager of the Squamish Chamber of Commerce.

“All come from diverse backgrounds and companies of varying size and meet on a regular basis to assess the concerns of our business community,” he added.

    This is wonderful news for the small business community of Squamish. Chris is passionate about helping and creating an inclusive environment where businesses are well supported. And with such a fantastic team to lead, I am excited to see the great programs and initiatives that will roll out from here!!!
