Squamish citizens have elected Karen Elliott to be their new Mayor.
Elliott won 32.65 per cent of the vote, followed by Jeff Cooke, Susan Chapelle and Paul Lalli.
As many as 48.28 per cent of citizens went to the polls.
The new councillors are
