Whistler invites applications for annual food truck program

November 23, 2018 9:58am

The Resort Municipality of Whistler is inviting applications for its annual food truck program.

RMOW said the food truck program is a ‘great opportunity’ for visitors and residents to enjoy food in a fun, outdoor setting at the three parks, and an excellent business proposition for food service operators in the Sea to Sky Region.

A Sea to Sky location, variety of menu, sourcing from local producers and commitment to zero waste strategy, etc are some of the criterias that RMOW applies to the selection process.

This year, the food trucks were scheduled every day from June 30 to September 3 at Lost Lake Park, Rainbow Park, and Lakeside Park.

Eight food trucks rotated through these three Whistler parks in the summer serving treats, from souvlaki and teriyaki to Tacos, Schnitzel snacks, and fresh juice.

The deadline is March 20, 2019. You can learn about the application process here.
