Park Royal Cineplex is now open

April 3, 2019 8:10am

If you love to watch movies on the big screen, just drive down to Park Royal.

Park Royal Cineplex is now open and tickets are now on sale at Cineplex.com.

The Cineplex, which officially opens today, April 3, is Metro Vancouver’s second VIP Cinemas.

Located at the south side of the Park Royal Shopping Centre, Metro Vancouver’s second VIP Cinemas offer 11 auditoriums and a range of enhanced movie-watching experience including UltraAVX, reclining D-BOX motion seats.

In addition to Cineplex’s famous popcorn, guests can select from an expanded food and beverage menu that features fresh salads and bowls, burgers, artisanal pizzas and indulgent desserts, said Park Royal management.

The VIP Cinemas experience at Cineplex Cinemas Park Royal and VIP includes four specially designed auditoriums as well as a VIP lounge where guests can socialize with friends and enjoy food and drink before and after a movie.

While all VIP Cinemas auditoriums will become fully-licensed over the coming months, guests can still enjoy a wide selection of handcrafted cocktails, wines and premium craft beers in the VIP lounge.

“We are so excited to bring the movie-going experience to Park Royal and introduce the community to a new, state-of-the-art theatre with luxurious and enhanced entertainment options,” said Ellis Jacob, President and CEO, Cineplex.
