Crews tackle small fire in Squamish

Squamish Fire Rescue crews and BC Wildfire Service are on scene at a small wildfire near Powerhouse Springs Road.

Reporters indicates that the fire is currently 0.01 hectares. More information will be shared as crews assess the situation and report back.

Crews have reported that the fire is considered small, and is approximately 20×30 metres. The fire is contained and crews are confident it will remain that way. Mopping up on site has begun.

Further updates will be provided with any change in information.
