Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Howe Sound. Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
An arctic front will push through Howe Sound this afternoon, with winds at the mouth of Howe Sound rising to northerly 70 km/h with gusts to 90 km/h this afternoon.
The winds will remain strong through the evening.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
