Squamish RCMP say 13 windows were smashed at the adventure center

Squamish RCMP say 13 windows were smashed at the Squamish Adventure Centre on February 14, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in damage.

Squamish RCMP responded to a report of yelling and glass breaking at the Adventure Centre around 4 am on Friday, February 14.

Police say unknown suspect or suspects threw rocks at the windows and smashed 13 windows in total, but did not gain entry.

The Integrated Police Dog Service and multiple police units attended to the location but were unable to locate a suspect.

Investigators continue gathering evidence including surveillance videos from various locations and are asking the public to come forward with any witness or video information.

Exact dollar value of the damage to building has not yet been determined but estimated in tens of thousands.

RCMP are not linking this event to any type of recent events occurring in the Squamish area.
