A planned maintenance on Highway 99 will reduce the highway to one lane starting next week from Lions Bay to West Vancouver.

Maintenance will take place on a 6.4 kilometre stretch between Garibaldi Hwy and Lions Bay Ave.

The planned maintenance means the left lane will be closed on Highway 99 in both directions in that area.

Starting Monday, Feb 24 until Thursday, February 27, only one lane will be available to drivers on the Highway 99 in that stretch.

The left lane in both directions will be closed from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on these days, according to a Drive BC update.
