Brennan Park spring program registration delayed

The spring program registration at Brennan Park has been delayed by one week because of the ransomware attack on district’s IT system.

Registration will not be available March 4 as previously planned. It will now open on Wednesday, March 11 at 8 am.

The district’s recreation booking engine ‘Squamishlive’ was taken offline late last week as a precaution to protect the system from any potential threat because of the ransomware attack on the district IT system.

Efforts to bring the system back online are taking longer than planned, district said. That has delayed the spring program registration by one week.

Meanwhile, those looking to register for spring break or any other current programs can do so by visiting the district’s front desk or by calling 604-898-3604.
