Mayor Karen Elliott is urging locals to be a tourist in their own in a Mayor’s Message the district posted on she posted on May 29.
Elliott encouraged Squamish citizens to walk local trails and visit downtown but keeping in mind the social distancing guidelines outlines by the province. She said Squamish is getting ready to welcome visitors to town. “Not quit yet, but we are getting ready to welcome people back,” she said.
