Whistler RCMP are asking for witnesses to call the police after a group of men were seen brandishing a knife to several people on the village stroll.
On August 25, at approximately 11:50 pm, Whistler RCMP received numerous reports about a group of men who were brandishing a knife to several people and were looking to start a fight.
Several Whistler RCMP officers responded to the area and were able to locate the men in the area of the 4300 Block of Sunrise Alley.
Police were able to take two men into custody and have recovered a knife from one of the men. The rest of the group, however, ran from the scene.
Whistler RCMP continues to investigate the incident and are asking the public to call the police if they witnessed the events of that night, or may have a cell phone video of the incident.
