BC Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson has named West Vancouver-Sea to Sky MLA Jordan Sturdy as the Official Opposition Critic for BC Hydro.
“I’m pleased to be named as the Official Opposition Critic for BC Hydro and work together with my BC Liberal colleagues to push John Horgan and the NDP to act on these important issues,” said Sturdy.
“Our team will continue to push the government to make decisions that help improve people’s lives as they deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ll be continuing to advocate for the people here in West Vancouver-Sea to Sky on a daily basis, on top of holding this government to account for their poor treatment of the energy sector.”
The critic role changes announced yesterday build on the 13 letters and over 60 policy suggestions introduced by the BC Liberals over the last several months.
“Jordan has been a champion for his community for years, and I look forward to seeing him bring that same passion and dedication to making the NDP government accountable,” added BC Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson.
