Whistler RCMP are seeking more information about a suspicious male who harassed a woman on Valley Trail.
Whistler RCMP were notified that at approximately 11:30 pm on October 4, a woman walking alone in the Valley Trail was approached and grabbed by a man who later fled before police arrives.
The woman was walking along the Valley Trail, from Village Gate Boulevard towards Highway 99, when the man approached her, started taking, and said he knew her.
She ignored him and continued walking but he kept following her and continued to try to talk to her.
At one point he tried to grab her arm.
The woman pulled away and the incident was noticed by a group of bystanders who came over to assist her.
The man then fled the area.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 40 to 50 years of age, tall with a high pitch voice.
He was also said to be walking with a small grey dog.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have noticed this incident. Specifically, the police would like to speak to the group that came to help the woman.
