October 21, 2020 7:07pm

Whistler RCMP officers are investigating a robbery with a knife at a business in the Village Square area of Whistler.

On October 15, at approximately 10:40 AM, Whistler RCMP were notified of a robbery at a business in the 4200 block of Village Square.

Police rushed to the scene but were unable to locate the male suspect.

Whistler RCMP say the suspect took several items from the store without paying and then took out a knife when an employee approached him.

The suspect then fled the area.

The suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately 40 years of age, wearing a black ball cap, black jacket with a black hoody underneath, dark blue jeans, and white Adidas shoes with black stripes.

He was also carrying a black backpack.

If anyone has witnessed this incident and not yet spoken to police, please contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044 or Crimestoppers.
