Squamish RCMP investigating hit-and-run on Cleveland Avenue

Squamish RCMP are investigating a hit-and-run that took place on Cleveland Avenue in Downtown Squamish.

Police are asking for information to identify the van and the driver.

On December 8, at about 2:30 pm, the driver of a blue cargo van backed into a grey sedan that was parked along Cleveland Avenue near Victoria Street.

The driver of the van got out of his car, looked at the damage, but then drove off.

Anyone with any information about the driver or the car is asked to contact the Squamish RCMP at 604-892-6100.

iPad/Tablet found

On December 14, a community member found an iPad/tablet on a trail near a local golf course.

The owner can claim it by providing details of make, model, and serial number of the device to Squamish RCMP.
