Eight-hour power outage planned in Downtown Squamish

BC Hydro is planning an eight-hour outage in Downtown Squamish.

The outage starts on January 17, Sunday, at 7 am and will continue until 3 pm.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment is the reason behind this outage.

The downtown areas that will be affected are as follow:

38100-38162 2nd Ave, 38123-38165 Cleveland Ave,

1360,1362,1364,1366,1368 Pemberton Ave,

1361,1367,4181 Winnipeg St

Meanwhile, there is a two-hour outage planned for Cleveland Avenue tomorrow.

This outage starts tomorrow, January 5, from 6 pm to 8 pm. The outages will be at the following locations:

38183, 38201, 38239 Cleveland Ave.
