Staff report
March 7, 2021 12:39pm

Vancouver Coastal Health has released the list of COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Sea to Sky communities.

In Squamish, the clinic will be located at The 55 Activity Centre in Downtown Squamish.

In Whistler, the location of the clinic will be at the Whistler Convention Centre, while in Pemberton, the clinic will be located at the Pemberton Community Centre at 7390, Cottonwood Street.

For phase 2 of the B.C. Immunization plan, VCH has identified 25 COVID-19 vaccinations clinics to serve residents 80 years of age and older, Indigenous peoples 65 years of age and older and Elders.

The COVID-19 vaccination clinic sites will be located across Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver West Vancouver, Sunshine Coast, Powell River, Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton.

The clinic locations will be held at community centres, friendship centres, seniors centres, cultural centres and other regional sites.

On Monday, March 15, the COVID-19 vaccination clinics will open to eligible seniors by age group.

Most vaccination clinics will be open seven days a week, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., with evening appointments available at some locations. Dedicated sites have also been established for Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Métis and Inuit), which will offer services that are culturally safe, with ceremonial plans in place.

Starting Monday, March 8, the eligible seniors and Indigenous peoples are invited to call VCH’s appointment booking phone line at 1.877.587.5767.
