Catalytic converters stolen from local car dealerships

Squamish RCMP have received two complaints about catalytic converters being stolen from local car dealerships.

Between March 11 and 12, thieves stole three catalytic converters from local car dealerships in two separate instances.

Squamish RCMP said it continues to do foot, bike, and car patrols, and is working with local merchants on specific ways to catch these thieves.

Earlier today, Squamish RCMP warned the public about car thieves at work in Squamish.

Between March 9 and 15, Squamish RCMP have responded to multiple complaints of thefts from cars, attempted car thefts, and stolen cars.

Squamish RCMP will be releasing photos of stolen vehicles soon.
