Now building permit applications being accepted in-person at municipal hall

District of Squamish is now accepting applications for building permits in-person at the municipal hall between 10 am and 3 pm, from Monday to Friday.

Seniors Hours will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. daily, and seniors will be prioritized throughout the day.

Physical distancing, enhanced sanitization protocols and customer limits are in place.

To avoid delays, the district is urging locals to ensure application is complete as outlined in the document checklist.

Incomplete applications will not be accepted

Meanwhile, current Covid-19 protocols for all other submissions including supporting documentation and revisions remain in place.

The documents should be placed in the lobby intake bin at Municipal Hall with cover sheets and envelopes.
