Multiple stabbings in North Vancouver; one arrested

staff report
March 27, 2021 4:37pm

Six people were taken to hospital after they were stabbed in and outside the Lynn Valley library in North Vancouver.

One suspect is in custody. Police said it appears this was a lone suspect.

There is no ongoing threat to public, but North Vancouver RCMP is still looking for potential additional victims.

Any witnesses should call police at 604-985-1311.

There was heavy police presence in the area and a twitter user has posted a video of the alleged suspect being taken into custody.

Amy Robertson of BC Emergency Services told the media as many as 11 ambulances responded to the scene and six people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
