The local RBC branch will reopen tomorrow after it was closed following an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

“We had an individual at our RBC branch in Squamish who recently tested positive for COVID-19,” said Jeff Taylor, the Regional Director of Communications for RBC.

“The health and wellness of our clients, employees and community is always our top priority, and we are firmly committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace,” he said.

He said RBC has taken a number of immediate steps to protect the health and safety of its clients, employees and community, including temporarily closing the branch while undertaking a deep cleaning and disinfection of the branch.

The branch is scheduled to re-open on Wednesday, April 7.
