District’s Advisory Design Panel will be soon discussing a 12-unit townhome project at 1189 and 1201 Wilson Crescent.

The zoning for the land allows townhomes. A consolidation of two land parcels will be required for the project to move forward.

The site will be accessed by a principal driveway off Wilson Crescent, and no parking variance is being asked for by the proponent, Accorde Properties Corp.

District bylaws require 27 parking stalls and the developer will provide the same. Similarly, 30 bike parking stalls are required, which are being provided. Some variances, however, are being sought for interior and rear setbacks.

The proposed landscaping consists of a mix of trees and shrubs throughout the entire site, according to the report to the ADP committee.

District staff is seeking the committee’s recommendations on building form, character, material and landscaping.

The ADP committee will be discussing this project on April 15.
