Three in critical condition after crash on Sea to Sky Highway

An accident on Sea to Sky Highway yesterday has left three people in critical condition.

Sarah Morris, Media Relation for  BC Emergency Health Services, said they received a call for accident on the Sea to Sky highway near Squamish at 4:55 pm yesterday.

Five ground and two air paramedic crews were dispatched to the scene.

Four patients were transported to hospital, and while three remain in critical condition, one is stable.

The Sea to Sky Highway was closed in both directions for few hours as emergency crews respond to the incident that happened between Alice Lake Road and Daisy Lake Road.

Squamish RCMP and ICARS attended the scene, and the local police are expected to provide more information on the accident later.
