Possible COVID-19 exposure at Valleycliffe school

April 18, 2021 7:39pm

There has been a possible COVID-19 exposure at Valleycliffe Elementary School.

In a letter to the parents, the school said a member of the Valleycliffe Elementary School community tested positive for COVID-19.

The possible exposure at VCE was for April 13.

“We are supporting Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) in undertaking contact tracing so they can assess if any additional steps are required,” VCE said.

VCH will now determine if anyone in the school community was in contact with the person or persons who tested positive for COVID-19 while they were potentially infectious.

To ensure personal privacy rights are maintained, school will not be providing additional details.
