New road and trail lighting planned along Loggers Lane

staff report
April 19, 2021 11:35am

The District of Squamish is accepting quotes for the Loggers Lane Lighting Project.

This project consists of installing new road and trail lighting along Loggers Lane and the Corridor Trail from Finch Dr. to the Squamish Adventure Centre.

Work will include the installation of a fibre conduit along the Loggers Lane that will tie into existing conduits at either end.

The project is expected to be complete this September.

The district is also accepting quotations from qualified companies for the installation of exterior Avigilon camera systems at the Squamish Landfill and at the Squamish Adventure Centre.

The exterior IP cameras will be installed at the two sites, which will be operational only after hours and will be motion activated.

The cameras installation is in response to theft and vandalism.

The district also has bids out for an economic development website and roof repairs at the Brennan Park pool.
