Over the past week, Squamish RCMP investigated eight incidents of mischief to vehicles in the community.
The calls came from Alice Lake, Downtown Squamish, and also from Lions Bay.
Some car windows were simply smashed, while in other cases, thieves smashed windows and took items such as books, iPad, tools, and catalytic converters.
Squamish RCMP are again reminding people to secure their vehicles and remove any valuables after parking them in the community.
Police is also reminding locals that crimes can be reported online, including damage or mischief to property or vehicle under $5,000, bike theft and theft under $5,000, theft under $5,000 from vehicle, and lost property.
By reporting these crimes either through OCR or by contacting the detachment, people can help police gather information that can help solve crimes, Squamish RCMP says.
