GoFundMe for local teen seriously injured in highway crash

A GoFundMe page has been started for local teen Dylan Good who was seriously injured in the accident on Highway 99 on June 28.

The accident also claimed the life of a 17-year-old.

Rosanne Scarth, who started the fundraiser, says Dylan broke his back in the accident, and faces a long road to recovery. .

“Dylan is a vibrant, kind, funny, loving kid. He loves soccer and all his friends very deeply. During this time of recovery Dylan and his family will need support for a very long time for physical and mental therapies,” she says.

The family is hoping Dylan will be back home soon.

The accident happened on June 28 at about 10:45 pm on Highway 99 north of Alice Lake.

Squamish RCMP said the collision had taken place between a car with three Squamish youths and a van with one occupant.
