One critical after fall at Smoke Bluffs Park

One person is in critical condition and another is serious after a fall in the lower Smoke Bluffs Park area.

The incident happened around 10:41 am on July 4, Sunday.

“BCEHS received a call for an incident on a trail in lower Smoke Bluffs area of Squamish, and dispatched two ground ambulances and two air ambulance helicopters,” said Sarah Morris of British Columbia Emergency Health Services.

She said paramedics cared for two patients, and then transported them to the hospital.

One of them is in critical condition and the other person involved in the incident is in a serious condition at the hospital.
