Squamish council will be discussing a rezoning proposal to allow 200 residential units on Finch Drive.
District has received an application to rezone four lots on Finch Drive from single detached to a comprehensive development zone.
The four lots are at 1050, 1056, 1060, and 1070 Finch Drive.
The application proposes to rezone the four lots for a proposed development that will consist of mixed residential including duplexes, townhomes and apartments.
As many as 200 residential units are proposed, although 70% of the lands will be undeveloped as open space and environmentally protected parks and trails.
The proposal has yet to come before the council.
The district has also received an application for a temporary use permit to allow child care facility use at 1001 Finch Drive.
The application proposes to site and service two 24×60’ britco portables, an outdoor play area and surface parking for Squamish Montessori School while a permanent school facility is planned.
Jamie Martin says
Is there a site map showing the proposed development….?
Are there preliminary plans of the project…?
