Squamish RCMP are investigating the theft of a pick-up truck from Valleycliffe.
The theft took place last week, September 2, at about 7:45 am. The 2007 Toyota pick-up truck was stolen from the 10000 block of Valley Drive.
Squamish RCMP have also recovered a Toyota pick-up truck that was stolen from a local business’s parking lot in the 39000 block of Discovery Way.
It was later found in Downtown Squamish, and the investigation in both these thefts continues.

On September 2, at about 2:45 am, Squamish RCMP also investigated a report of theft of wallet and other contents from a parked car.
After stealing the wallet, thieves made a fraudulent transaction at a local gas station.
A rash of thefts was also reported from vehicles in the 40200 block Government Road, and 385000 block of Sky Pilot Drive.
