Special weather statement for Howe Sound

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Howe Sound.

Strong westerly winds with gusts up to 70 km/h can be expected in the area overnight through to Wednesday afternoon.

A cold front will cross southern BC tonight, bringing strong westerly winds in its wake.

The strong winds are expected to persist on Wednesday morning, and then ease in the afternoon.
